Popstar! Magazine posted a blog on their myspace today about Selena! 

Popstar! hearts Selena Gomez—she's beautiful, a great actress, has musical aspirations and is just very R E A L, don't you think?

We've spent some quality time with the wizardess including during her fun RADIO DISNEY guest spot and we were able to ask her about what went on during the long writer's strike, when Wizards of Waverly Place and all other TV shows had to stop filming:

"During the hiatus, I went and worked on a project and then I found out that the writers were on strike. We were originally supposed to be working on the show right [when I got back]...Disney Channel has me doing a movie for them...During that time, the writers will be writing new scripts so that in the beginning of May we'll start again."

She really missed her co-stars David Henrie, Jake T. Austin and Jennifer Stone!

"It was really hard because Jennifer went to Texas because that's where she's from and Jake went to New York, so it was definitely pretty hard. I cried pretty hard because I missed them. But it was fine. I see David almost every other day and I talk to him on the phone a lot...I think that it's just going to make season two even better because we're going to be excited and pumped to see each other again!"

Selena can not wait to get back to the show!

"I think being surrounded by the people that I care about so much will be the best. Season one was just kind of a start for us and I think we're going to get into our characters more and maybe have some cool guest stars on the show."
